This resource is only available to Surry Community College registered students, faculty, and staff. To log on:

  1. Enter your User Name and Password in the fields above.
  2. If you have problems or have forgotten your user name you can lookup this information.

Accessing Library Databases Off-Campus

In order to gain access to the library databases off-campus the password for your SCC login must first be changed. If you do not attend a class on campus you can call the IT and Computer Services Help Desk to have your password reset.

EZProxy and Cookies

Instructions for AOL, MSN or NetZero Users

If you are using the AOL, MSN or NetZero web browser, you will NOT be able to access the reference databases from off campus unless you follow the instructions below:

  1. Log on to AOL, MSN or NetZero.
  2. When your AOL, MSN or NetZero browser comes up, minimize it.
  3. Access Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator or Moxilla Firefox. (Most computers have one of these browsers installed)
  4. Once you have opened one of the browsers listed in #3 above, follow the general instructions.
